• Charlotte Belle (1871-1894)

John came with his parents to Indiana in 1845 from Ohio where he was born. He lived in District 52,
Huntington County; Tippecanoe Township, Tippecanoe County; and Kokomo, Howard County. John had distinguished service with the 86th Indiana Volunteer Infantry during the Civil War, serving from 14 August 1862 to 1 June 1865. Three years later, in 1868, he left Indiana for Lewis Township, Holt County, Missouri.
