Henry immigrated to Indiana from Ohio in 1861 with his parents, He moved to Phillipsburg, Phillips County, Kansas, in 1885. The family returned to Indiana from Kansas about 1890, where Nellie was born at Mertz, DeKalb County. They then went to LaPorte County, Michigan.
