The following database was extracted from a list discovered in Manuscript Collection S1378 Martha Weidenbach in the Manuscript Division of the Indiana State Library. The eleven page list extends into the 20th century; only the first four pages of the earliest records were copied.
The list heading says that the church was organized on September 13, 1817, and held its last meeting on September 12, 1959. The heading says that the list was copied from three church books, present location not given. Interested researchers are advised to find these church books and verify this data. Wikipedia has an article on this Whitewater Valley church and present cemetery association.
Abbreviations used are these: OM=Original Member; RE=Received by Experience; RL=Received by Letter; DL=Dismissed by Letter. Several female members have a second surname in parenthesis, probably a married name. The terms are not explained as to meaning, so researchers should probably consult with a current Baptist church member.
