The following database was scanned from the book, "History of the Seventh Indiana Cavalry Volunteers," written by Thomas S. Cogley, former First Lieutenant of Company F. The book was published in 1876 in LaPorte, Indiana.
As you can tell from the title page (attached), the book contains much more than the roster and would warrant a thorough reading by descendants of the men involved. The book used for this database is an original copy located on the sixth floor History section of the Indianapolis-Marion County Public Library-Main Branch in downtown Indianapolis.
