Daniel Arwine “Reckless” Honeycutt, a salesman for the Nash Motor Company, was shot and killed in Bloomington on May 25, 1925 by Mrs. William Holder after an argument over an automobile. A June 25, 1925 Bloomington Daily Telegraph article described Reckless as the hard-working and reliable owner of three lots in the Driscoll addition. Besides his widow, he left six young children.
