  • Cora Etta (b. 1867) married John Griffen

Christopher immigrated to near Vernon, Jennings County, Indiana, in 1851, and emigrated from Franklin, Johnson County, Indiana, in 1854. He served in the 3rd Regiment, Company F, Minnesota Volunteers in the Civil War. He was a veterinary surgeon and worked with the fire department for ten years. He had acquired a competence in the manufacture of patent medicines and had investments in real estate. He was a member of the Masons, I.O.O.F., and A.O.U.W.
