Harry was a machine tool salesman. He came to Indiana in 1927 and lived in Elkhart where he was the sales manager of the Foster Machine Co. He made fine furniture of walnut wood obtained in the Elkhart area using the many woodworking machines he had. He left the state about 1943 for Washington, D.C., where he spent about 18 months as head of the Machine Tool Division of Lend Lease before retiring and moving on once again, eventually ending up in Carlsbad, California, where he died.
