Roy Irvin Davis
b. 14 January 1891, Laughery Township, Ripley County, Indiana, to John S. C. and Azelia (Hickman) Davis
d. 13 August 1961, Phoenix, Maricopa County, Arizona

Roy was the seventh of eight children, most of who lived and died in Indiana. Roy, however, served in World War I and was told by doctors after the war that he should go to Arizona for his heath. His fiancé died from pneumonia, and he never married.

Roy is buried in the Greenwood Memorial Park Cemetery in Phoenix, Arizona.
