Student Enrollment, Indianapolis Public Schools, 1890 School Year by Ron Darrah A CD-ROM that contains a listing (in PDF format) of more than 13,000 students who were enrolled in grades 1-12 in Indianapolis Public Schools during 1890, as extracted from IPS microfilmed records. Also included are photos and histories of the school buildings that were in use at that time. A great substitute for the missing 1890 census.

1890 Soldiers Enrollment Lists A series of CD-ROMs that contain detailed indexes (in PDF format) of the 1890 soldiers enrollment lists, which enumerated the veterans of all past wars who were living in Indiana in 1890. These indexes are available for selected Indiana counties and include the veteran's rank, company, regiment, the state they served from, and if deceased, the date and place of their death, as well as information on their widows and children.
